Donations

Donation guidelines are strict. Appliances must be complete and in 100% working order. Appliances less than 7 years old. No built-in or gas appliances, please.  Other items must be in good shape and in useable sizes. For example, pipe must be at least 5' in length. Plywood and sheetrock must be at least 1/2 sheets; lumber in full lengths. For details on the guidelines, see below.

Your contributions are welcome . . . and needed. Pickup of items is available, and every donation helps toward providing adequate housing to those in need.

We do not except clothing, shoes, or built in appliances.
We only except computers if it is the complete computer system and can be set up to run.

Completely volunteer staffed, the ReStore is at 12 Circle Way. To make a donation, drop it by the store, or call  (979) 285-0090  to arrange for pickup. The ReStore is open Thursday through Saturday 9am-3pm
Closed Holiday weekends.

We do not accept built in or gas appliances.  We accept clean appliances in 100% working order and 7 years old or less with no missing parts.  Please include owners manuals if you have them, as they add value to your donation.
We do not accept odd computer parts or printers. Under some circumstances, we will accept the entire computer system if it works. Must be approved by ReStore manager. Please do NOT dump these on us. This is considered e-wast and we have to pay to dispose of it.
We accept standard size interior and exterior doors if they are in GOOD condition only. They must not have holes, cracks, rot, etc. Hardware is appreciated. Please include the keys.
No TV's. We accept most other small electrical appliances in working order.
We accept hardware for doors, cabinets, etc. Almost all types if it's not rusty. Locksets if the key is with them.
We accept full and 1/2 sheets of plywood on a space available basis . We accept full lengths of lumber. We will accept trim in smaller pieces, but not less than 4 feet long. Please, no rot or nails sticking out of lumber.
Mirror and glass is accepted if certain conditions apply. Please call prior to donating these items. No unframed mirrors.
We will take full containers of latex paint purchased from a paint store! NO LEFTOVERS! We cannot take toxic, hazardous substances, (i.e. pesticides, powders, paint thinners, or other chemicals).
Must be approved by the ReStore manager; we will NOT pick up.
We accept 5' and over of any type of pipe, and all supplies and fittings.
We accept tubs, sinks and vanities if they are clean and in good condition. Please no cultured marble sinks/counter combinations. Please no used toilets.
We accept all hand and power tools in working condition.
Without rips, large stains, pet urine or covered in animal hair.
We accept  windows of all types if the glass and frame is intact. Most windows will show use, even if they are newer. If they are casement type, we appreciate having the hardware and cranks.
